Leads the UAE delegation to the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi
On behalf of the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi is leading the UAE delegation at the 18th BRICS Summit hosted by India in New Delhi — following his official visit in September 2024 and his attendance at the AI Impact Summit in February 2026.

Witnesses the launch of the Marsa Al Saadiyat development
The Crown Prince witnessed the launch of Marsa Al Saadiyat, an Aldar development spanning 6.4 million square metres on Saadiyat Island with an announced investment value of AED100 billion.

Inaugurates MBZ City passenger train station as the UAE passenger rail network is unveiled
Sheikh Khaled inaugurated the MBZ City station and witnessed the unveiling of the national passenger rail network. Passenger services linking Abu Dhabi and Fujairah, with a journey time of 1 hour 45 minutes, were announced to begin on 30 June 2026.

Meets President Xi Jinping in Beijing during an official visit to China
During an official visit to China from 12 to 14 April 2026, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi held talks with President Xi Jinping in Beijing, according to China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Approves an AED4.21 billion housing benefits package for citizens ahead of Eid Al Fitr
Under the directives of the UAE President, the Crown Prince approved a housing benefits package worth AED4.21 billion for 2,652 citizens of Abu Dhabi.

Official visit to Ecuador
During an official visit to Quito, the conclusion of a UAE–Ecuador Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement was announced alongside further bilateral agreements. Sheikh Khaled was also conferred Ecuador’s National Order of Merit.

Meets Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the AI Impact Summit
In New Delhi for the AI Impact Summit, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi met the Prime Minister of India. Outcomes listed by India’s Prime Minister’s Office included a term sheet between C-DAC, G42 and MBZUAI relating to a supercomputing cluster in India.

Executive Council approves the Healthy Living and Integrated Water strategies
Chairing a meeting of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Sheikh Khaled approved the Healthy Living Strategy (Department of Health) and the Integrated Water Strategy (Department of Energy), and directed that citizens may gift residential grants to spouses and first-degree relatives.

Announces a US$1 billion “AI for Development” initiative for Africa at the G20
Leading the UAE delegation to the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Johannesburg on behalf of the UAE President, the Crown Prince announced a US$1 billion initiative to expand AI infrastructure and capabilities across Africa.

Approves an AED42 billion expansion of Abu Dhabi’s Liveability Strategy
At an Executive Council meeting, the Crown Prince approved the expansion of the Liveability Strategy. The Council was told that the first phase comprised more than 60 projects worth AED12 billion, including over 200 parks and courts, 24 schools and 21 mosques. The meeting also reviewed progress on the Abu Dhabi Government Digital Strategy.

Meets President Vladimir Putin in Minsk
Attending the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Minsk, Belarus, on behalf of the UAE President, Sheikh Khaled met the President of the Russian Federation on the sidelines of the meeting.

Official visit to Kazakhstan
Received by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the Akorda in Astana, the Crown Prince held talks and attended the Kazakhstan–UAE Business Forum. The Kazakh presidency reported more than 20 commercial agreements worth about US$5 billion.
